By accessing or using CodeOasis (the “Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
CodeOasis is a development environment that provides, among other capabilities:
- Multi-window code editing with 33+ specialised panels.
- AI-powered code generation, refactoring, and review.
- Schema visualisation and database tooling.
- Team collaboration, invitations, and role-based access.
- Project management, usage analytics, and audit logs.
3. User accounts
3.1 Account creation
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
3.2 Account responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.
3.3 Account termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone.
4. Acceptable use policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe on intellectual-property rights.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or exploits.
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems or other users.
- Mine cryptocurrency or run unrelated workloads on shared infrastructure.
- Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 Our content
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CodeOasis and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws.
5.2 Your content
You retain ownership of everything you create with CodeOasis. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service. We do not train models on your private code.
6. Payment terms
6.1 Subscription fees
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
6.2 Price changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days’ notice. Changes do not affect your current billing cycle.
6.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
7. Privacy and data
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service and explains how we handle your data.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
8.1 Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.
8.2 Limitation of liability
In no event shall CodeOasis be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CodeOasis from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
11. Changes to terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
